Fan kits are available for the Autofridge and Trailblazer refrigerators. Although these refrigerators have superior insulation to the Engel, and are more efficient, they will still benefit greatly from the addition of the fan kit. In hot conditions the increased airflow over the compressor results in greater efficiency.

Wiring diagrams are included for easy installation.

Improve the efficiency of your three way fridge/freezer with a fan kit. A thermostat provided in the kit can be located on the condenser of the refrigerator. The thermostat will switch the fan on when the temperature of the condenser reaches 40 oC, but save energy by switching off at 28 oC. Installation instruction and cabling is included in the kit.

Please note, the fan will only operate if there is a 12 V DC or 24 V DC supply to the refrigerator. 

240 V TRANSFORMERS FOR COOLMATIC, TRAILBLAZER OR AUTOFRDGE

Transformers are available in either 12 or 24 V models to suit fridges that utilize the Danfoss compressor. They are available in boxed models, or units that can be installed into the refrigerator permanently. 

BAGS FOR ENGEL AND COOLMATIC FRIDGES

These bags are made in Australia to provide protection for your investment. The bags have heavy duty zippers. The bag for the Engel fridge does not cover the bottom of the fridge, allowing air to circulate and dry any condensation forming between the sides of the fridge and the bag. The top of the cover can be completely removed if desired. Bags are available in brown for Engels and grey for Coolmatic fridges.

These fridges are ideal to replace gas refrigerators that just aren't coping with the high heat of the Australian summer. With an extra thick 35mm of insulation these fridges are highly efficient and are suitable to run off a solar system. If you are thinking of replacing your old Electrolux, these fridges fit perfectly into the space of an Electolux fridge.

This line of refrigerators also features the Danfoss BD35F compressor which offers outstanding performance with minimal noise and power consumption. They are easily connected to a 240 volt supply via a low-cost rectifier with built-in mains priority switch.

COOLMATIC MATCHING FRIDGE & FREEZER UNITS

The RD115NC and RD115DF are designed as a matching pair for larger motorhomes and caravans.

The freezer has two practical and convenient slide-out drawers while the fridge features spacious shelving and vertical standing space for 1.5L bottles. Doors can be hinged either left or right..

The compressor is the quiet yet powerful Danfoss DBF35 compressor which can be mounted remotely up to 2 metre from the unit.

Looking for a refrigerator with a little more style? The Coolmatic HDC range of fridges are whisper quiet, super efficient and they look great! Each features an interior light and a practical multi-box for storing your vegetables in.

The HDC range is available from 160 to 220 litre capacities, all with ample freezing compartments. They are ideal for running on a solar panel/battery configuration and will run on either 12 or 24 volts. They can be easily connected to a 240 volt (AC) supply through a low cost rectifier with an in-built mains priority switch. The 190 and 220 Litre models have two doors for fridge and freezer compartments like the fridge at home!

The HDC range also features the powerful Danfoss BD50 compressor, which will still work at angles of up to 30 degrees.

THREE WAY REFRIGERATORS

The three way fridges can be powered by either 240 V AC, 12 V DC or gas. Please note in hot temperatures, above 35-39 degrees Celsius cabinet temperature may not be maintained. Electrolux refrigerators are covered by a twelve month warranty 

24 V ELEMENTS FOR ELECTROLUX THREE WAY REFRIGERATORS

Electrolux 3 way refrigerators are supplied with 12 V DC elements for most models. A number of motorhomes with 24 V DC systems must then use a voltage reducer or inverter when the bus is driven between camps. Conversion of the power from one voltage to another results in power loss.

To enable motorhomes to power the Electrolux fridge direct from the 24 V DC system, a series of 24 V DC elements have been manufactured for The 12 Volt Shop. For details on how to tell which element you need please contact The 12 Volt Shop and have your 12 Volt element handy!
